The Business Analysis team provide a critical role. Your task will be to develop relationships across the business to elicit requirements for technical initiatives and changes to processes and systems, ensuring user requirements are managed throughout the project lifecycle. 

Essential skills to succeed:

  • Ability to work in a complex organisation undergoing significant transformation and manage a portfolio of work packages
  • Ability to deliver business analysis in an end-to-end project lifecycle, including Business Acceptance Testing phases and handover to support, using an industry recognised approach such as ITIL, Prince and/or Agile.
  • Ability to produce high quality written documentation that is concise, accurate and unambiguous by selecting and applying appropriate methods and standards
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined project team. Yet have the ability to focus on individual tasks, but with the confidence to ask for help when required.
  • Ability to elicit and document testable functional and non-functional requirements and processes with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to Lead / facilitate investigations and decision making ensuring that the views of stakeholders are considered, verified and validated, whilst resolving any conflict
    • Ability to Inform and educate stakeholders on potential contribution by technology
    • The capability to travel regularly to different locations. 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Desirable skills to succeed:

  • A relevant professional BA qualification
  • 5 years Minimum experience in a BA role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience within the ICT or Policing sector

This role will include remote work but requires regular travel to Hampshire Constabulary and Thames Valley Police offices.
