In this exciting role, you will assist the Regional Change Programme Manager to support CTP SE managing, advising on and coordinating strategic projects across the south east region.

You will ensure the management, planning and delivery of allocated projects. You will write project initiation documents, provide advice and recommendations to the Programme Manager.

You will co-ordinate and manage the collection of project information and data from departments in CTP SE. You will also monitor and evaluate project documentation for quality and accuracy, and liaise with project teams to ensure monthly and quarterly project deadlines are met.

The successful applicant will proven recent experience in a project role with knowledge of a range of project management techniques. Good standard of education including excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills are also essential to the role. You must be able to work on own initiative, and as part of a team.

Due to the role requirements, it is essential that the post holder be prepared to be security cleared to enhanced level. This is line with government requirements, supported by Cabinet Office policy and Section 82(2) to (4) of the Police Reform Act (2002), and is for the purpose of safeguarding national security, to ensure that any potential vulnerabilities are identified at an early stage.

This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you will be required to travel for business purposes. This may include travel across the UK and is not limited to the south east. You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home.
