An opportunity has arisen within the Force Intelligence department for an Intelligence Analyst position based on the South Buckinghamshire LPA to assist the local intelligence teams in the prevention, disrupting and detection of crimes impacting on the local community.

You will use analytical techniques to create intelligence and evidential products to identify the activities of individuals, groups, and organisations, identify intelligence gaps  and support the court process. 

Applicants must have substantial current role-related experience as an analyst in a police environment / partnership agency with excellent understanding of the National Intelligence Model and experience of delivering intelligence products, crime analysis tools, methodology and specialist software. Excellent written and oral communication skills, together with effective time management and a flexible approach to working are essential. You will be required to attend meetings and conferences both internally and externally thus a full driving licence is required.  

Along with all other posts on Force CID, Intelligence and Specialist Operations, this role will require an enhanced level of vetting.

Vetting.  All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice. The residency requirement is necessary to enable all applicants to be checked in an equitable manner.
