CCTV Operator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CCTV Operator to work at Milton Keynes. The purpose of this role is to monitor multiple cameras in a number of locations to provide information to operational police officers and in any case to help reduce crime.
A CCTV Operator will Monitor and operate CCTV equipment including cameras, radios and ancillary equipment making appropriate pro-active and reactive responses to assist with the detection of crime, antisocial behaviour and to support the reduction of crime, disorder and the fear of crime.
A CCTV Operator must possess excellent communication, listening and recall skills to gain trust with internal / external customers at all levels, with an ability to remain calm and work within clearly defined parameters / procedures.
This is a rare opportunity to be part of an expanding CCTV operation covering both Milton Keynes & Slough public space CCTV. The future scalability will enable access to many more systems across the Thames Valley. You will be actively involved in the service, which will include a newly upgraded system across both locations.

Vetting. All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice. The residency requirement is necessary to enable all applicants to be checked in an equitable manner.
