Secondment

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an eleven month secondment in FISO as a Force Intelligence Reader. This post is part time at 24hours per week.  

 

In this interesting role you will provide continuity and support to the FIH (Force Intelligence Hub) by receiving, evaluating, collating, creating, recording and disseminating information and intelligence relating to threat, risk and harm, crime and other community concerns.

 

You will need to be IT literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook with the ability to learn new systems.  You will also have the ability to process a large volume of work to meet exacting standards of accuracy and adherence to guidelines along with the ability to carry out research on systems and arrive at a functional analysis of the facts.

 

This role is considered as a hybrid role and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office environment at least two days a week. You will be required to attend the office 5 days a week during the training period.

 

Along with all other posts on Force CID, Intelligence and Specialist Operations, this role will require an enhanced level of vetting.

Vetting.  All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice. The residency requirement is necessary to enable all applicants to be checked in an equitable manner.
