You will contribute to the effective management and co-ordination of Workforce Planning including Special Constabulary Recruitment, Assessments and Foundation Training administration, ensuring that the most appropriate and cost effective approach is undertaken. You will plan and prioritise the workload of the team to ensure it flows smoothly and meets customer needs.

 

A good general standard of education is required. Attained or willing to work towards NVQ Level 3 in Management. Experience of recruitment, resourcing and people administration processes along with recent and relevant customer service experience, preferably within a People Services environment, is essential. Applicants must be Day One and SEARCH Accredited or be committed to successfully undertaking accreditation. You will be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and HR IT systems with an aptitude to learn new technology. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to enable you to interact with staff, customers, senior managers and members of the public together with the ability to manage and prioritise fluctuating workloads and demands. A flexible approach to working is essential, as some tasks require regular evening and weekend working and travelling to various locations, which may require lone working.
