Thames Valley Police
Part Time – 20 hours per week.
In this important role you will plan, schedule and deploy resources required to meet the operational needs of the organisation for special operations, pre-planned events and unforeseen circumstances in order to ensure operational resilience of the Force and LPA, financial implications and the impact the changes will have on individuals. Record and manage long term and short notice abstractions to maintain resilience levels, continually revising duties to ensure demand is met, whilst complying with all relevant policy and legislation. If and when requested, represent the Resource Manager during any periods of absence
You will have a good standard of education with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to negotiate, influence and resolve conflict. An ability to prioritise and work to deadlines is essential as well as an ability to understand complex systems. Proven experience of operating in a role that requires application of logic and an ability to make fast time decisions based on available information is required. You will also have proven ability to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers maintaining contact and communicating their needs clearly.
The hours of work will be within Monday to Friday and will be discussed with the successful candidate. An example shift pattern is attached.

Vetting. All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice. The residency requirement is necessary to enable all applicants to be checked in an equitable manner.
