We are looking for a Service Lead within our End User Device Team. This role will also have direct line management so responsible for supporting two team members along with PDR’s & 121’s, and will report to the End User Device Manager.  This role is overall accountable for the monitoring and reporting the performance, experience and governance controls of our End User Device Services to both Thames Valley Police and Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary.

 

As a team leader you will be responsible for service reporting, ensuring that patterns & trends are highlighted and working with the other team leaders ensure there are robust plans in place to assist with demand reduction, forecasting demand and continual service improvement.

 

This role is also accountable for ensuring device lifecycle management is adhered to within End User Device Services along with the governance controls of incident management, request fulfilment and Change Management.

 

It is essential that this role works collaboratively with the other teams leaders in End User Device team as well as the wider ICT department and business areas.

This is a new role to the forces so a great opportunity to help shape the experiences we provide to our forces allowing technology to support frontline policing.

 

This post needs to be on site at Southampton at least 4 days a week with the occasional travel to Kidlington Head Quarters, 1 day a week can be working remotely.

 

Must have capability to travel to different locations across both Forces and undertake all assignments in a timely manner. Due to the requirement to work flexibly, unsocial hours and personal safety for lone working; public transport may not be available or suitable at these times. For this reason a full UK driving licence is considered essential.
