Fixed term Contract/Secondment Until March 2022

 

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of Niche RMS data, in particular to the Golden Nominal to improve and maintain the integrity of the data held for policing and operational purposes and to reduce unnecessary risk. Review, link and analyse data held on the system, monitor and ensure compliance requirements are maintained when merging, amending or removing inaccurate information including audit trails.

You will also be required to liaise with Users at all levels, be point of contact when providing expert advice and support promoting best practice in the use of the system establishing the effective working standards across the organisation and challenge poor standards of use.

 

The successful candidate will have a good standard of education with knowledge or a willingness to learn police systems and current policing legislation, policies and procedures. A high level of computer literacy is required with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of other Microsoft software to investigate, present and interpret data. Strong problem solving, communication and relationship building skills are required with the ability to impact at all levels. The ability to build effective working relationships across departments whilst being able to work in a secure and confidential environment is required whilst recognising sensitive information and maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times.
