Secondment/Fixed Term Contract For 12 Months

In this role you will specifically be working in Case Disposals, providing a high quality administrative service to customers, internal and external, working within force and departmental guidelines towards the aims and objectives of the department and the organisation. You will be part of a project team dealing with Out of Court Disposals, where the Force are seeking to deal with low-level crime outside of the Criminal Justice process by facilitating offenders’ attendance at partner-agency provided courses, paying financial reparation or completing Restorative Justice. You would correspond with officers, our partner agencies, victims, and offenders, and be the first line contact in answering and resolving day to day queries. You would deal with problems with minimal referral to your team leader.


You will need to have a good standard of education and recent experience of working in an administrative role within a customer service environment together with proven written and verbal communication skills. The ability to use your own initiative and problem solve within a team environment, whilst maintaining attention to detail is essential together with proven time management and organisational skills. A full UK driving licence is considered desirable (but not essential) as you may need the capability to travel to different locations across the force.
