Assistant Chief Constable, Thames Valley Police

Salary package:

£107,502 plus £3,000 South East Allowance, car allowance and benefits.

Brief details of the role as follows:

Working to the Deputy Chief Constable, you will provide effective leadership of your portfolio responsibilities and contribute to the overall leadership of the Force.  You will develop and implement appropriate and effective strategies and policies and take command of policing and operational matters as and when required.

You will have the operational and leadership credibility to help ensure we get the best policing service we can for our communities.  You will have a strong commitment to promote high standards of professionalism amongst your colleagues and the communities you serve.

Vetting.  All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice. The residency requirement is necessary to enable all applicants to be checked in an equitable manner. Thames Valley Police will allow applicants to apply who do not necessarily reach the criteria as long as they have proven UK residency and supporting evidence where necessary.
