In this exciting role you will work closely with Project Managers in delivery of innovative projects in Counter Terrorism policing across the South East region, on a 23 month secondment or Fixed Term Contract.

You will ensure management, planning and delivery of allocated projects. This will include coordination and maintenance of project documentation. You will monitor and evaluate project data for quality and accuracy, and liaise with staff to provide support and advice to ensure data and information meets monthly and quarterly project deadlines. 

The post holder must have exceptional administrative skills, be able to work independently and be confident in initiating contact with a variety of different departments within forces. Tasks will include organisation of project meetings, liaison with attendees, arranging meeting rooms and distribution of project documentation. At the meetings, you will record actions and minutes as required.

The successful applicant will have recent experience within a project environment or knowledge of a range of project management techniques. A good standard of education including excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills are essential to the role. PRINCE 2 Project Management training to Foundation level is preferred, although full Practitioner training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The role is agile and will be required to travel around the South East region for work purposes from time to time to attend relevant meetings.

Security is of paramount importance to us due to the nature of the role. You need to be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.  You will be required to successfully pass and maintain the relevant security clearance in order to perform the role.
