We welcome applications from PCs and DCs for the role of CT Nominal Management Manager (CTNM) within our new Nominal Management team.

This team has arisen through Project Semper, which has set out to deliver a number of changes to the ways that the CT Policing network and its partners approach Nominal Management; moving away from being an activity that is carried out in different ways across the network, towards being a capability that is subject to a singular governance structure and delivers enhanced outcomes by adopting consistent ways of working.

In this role, you would be responsible for day-to-day overt active management of identified nominal within their region, in partnership with others.  This means that you will ensure inter-departmental liaison and the management of tasking.  You will also be responsible for ensuring the efficient use of resources, in order to provide an effective service regional, and (where applicable) nationally.

To be successful in this role you either be PIP 2 accredited or you will have a comprehensive police intelligence and / or investigative background.  You will also need to have experience of managing sensitive and confidential information, with experience of managing risk. We also seek someone with excellent communication skills, who can work in partnership to creatively problem solve.

Security is of paramount importance to us due to the nature of the role. You need to be a British National and resided in the UK for the past five years for Security Clearance (SC) and ten years for Developed Vetting (DV)  You will be required to successfully pass and maintain the relevant security clearance in order to perform the role.
