As a Nominal Management Coordinator, you will ensure compliance, logistical planning and coordination of nominal management (NM) functions in support of the South East regional response.

You will enable early intervention with convicted terrorists and others of counter terrorism (CT) interest, to inform desistance planning in line with organisational learning drawn from national reviews following recent terrorist attacks. 

You will act as primary point of contact for all partner agencies/force offender management units and various stakeholders across the South East. A high level of interpersonal/communication skills is essential to the role. You will also have excellent coordination and organisational skills including to work effectively under high levels of pressure.

You must be prepared to travel across the South East region when required and hold a full driving licence. Working hours and level of flexibility are specific to each role and can be discussed at interview.

Due to the role requirements, it is essential that the post holder be prepared to be security cleared to Developed Vetting (DV) level. Furthermore, due to the nature and sensitivity of work carried out we require that candidates not only hold this vetting level but that they also undertake additional security clearances which include additional nationality checks. This post is therefore restricted to UK nationals. This is line with government requirements, supported by Cabinet Office policy and Section 82(2) to (4) of the Police Reform Act (2002), and is for the purpose of safeguarding national security, to ensure that any potential vulnerabilities are identified at an early stage.
