This role provides an exciting opportunity to be a Test Analyst within an organisation where you will be responsible for ensuring that the business receives solutions built using the latest technologies, which enhance operational policing and delivering significant benefits to the public.

 

You will be part of a team responsible for the testing of software applications prior to the delivery into the live environment. You will be required to work with the wider ICT and operational departments to deliver quality solutions in line with business requirements. We recognise that professional progress is important and in this role, you will have the opportunity for continuous development.

 

You will be able to demonstrate:

 

  • An understanding of test analysis with the ability to investigate problems, recommend solutions and identify opportunities to contribute to the improvement of existing processes.
  • An understanding of non-functional testing, this includes designing and implementing non-functional test cases using standard testing techniques.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a proven customer focused approach and an aptitude to solve issues with little supervision.

 

This role can be carried out remotely for the most part, however, when necessary, there may be the occasional requirement to travel to the offices in Kidlington or Southampton.
