Secondment/Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2027
Part Time – 26 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Police Staff Recruitment Team based at HQ North, Kidlington, as a People Services Administrator.
In this role, you will deliver a high-quality, confidential and professional service, providing advice and support to both internal and external customers across a range of communication channels. All work will be carried out in line with Force policies and procedures, with responsibility for ensuring service protocols within your remit are met.
The successful candidate will be approachable, flexible, fair and professional, with a strong commitment to delivering an excellent level of service. You will be creative, proactive and passionate about supporting staff and stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to use initiative, solve problems, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and make sound decisions.
You will have a proven ability to organise, plan, prioritise and manage workloads effectively, and be adaptable, resilient and open to learning new processes in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a demanding administrative role is essential.
Hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00 – 15:00
If you are a permanent member of staff applying for this role, please note it will be offered on a secondment basis. Important: All secondments must be supported in writing by your Line Manager and Head of Department/Commander or Deputy. Please attach written approval from your line manager and Head of Department in your application. If the secondment is not supported then the role may be offered on a fixed term contract basis, but this has implications including loss of continuous service protections.
Please note: Shift allowance, on-call or other job related allowances from the previous role will not be protected unless they are attached to the new role for the duration of the secondment.
