INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

Location: Reading Fire Station HQ

Fixed term contract for 12 months

In this rewarding role you will provide contact, primarily by telephone, to victims and witnesses of crime; offering support and guidance as you work to increase the level of witness attendance at court. Confident working on your own initiative, you will be completing administrative tasks in order to ensure the efficient management of each case.

Experience of working in a customer focused role with strong interpersonal skills is essential, together with the ability to effectively negotiate and persuade with a wide range of people. You will be comfortable working both alone and within a team, without close supervision, whilst maintaining a professional manner and must be IT literate in Microsoft Office packages.
