In this role you will support the South East Regional Change Manager in the successful delivery of specific projects and work packages within the national Counter Terrorism, Domestic Extremism and Protective Security (CT/DE & PS) change portfolio.

You will be directly accountable to and line managed by the Regional Change Manager and will work flexibly across the change portfolio. You will be deployed on specific change projects as requested, including project delivery across the National Counter Terrorism Policing network.

You will have experience of working within a project and programme management environment. You will also have knowledge of, or direct experience in applying programme and project management approaches such as MSP and PRINCE2. You will have experience of establishing and implementing reporting and change control mechanisms in a project and/or programme or business environment. Good interpersonal/communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work on own initiative are also essential to the role.

Due to the role requirements, it is essential that the post holder be prepared to be security cleared to enhanced level. This role is part of a nation network and as a result you will be required to travel for business purposes. This may include travel across the UK and is not limited to the south east. You will be asked to demonstrate flexibility regarding working hours in line with operational demand and occasionally this may require working away from home.
