The location is Milton Keynes although there is some flexibility on this.

This role provides a comprehensive support role to Commanders/Heads of Department in respect of Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) issues. Acting as first point of contact for all HS&E matters, you will organise and attend meetings, prepare action plans, manage the DSE programme, ensure all safety incidents within area are investigated and manage and conduct workplace safety inspections.

You will have attained or be willing to study towards NEBOSH Occupational Safety and Health or NVQ Level 3 equivalent and NEBOSH Environment Management. A good standard of education is required together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially experience of effective report writing. The ability to use your own initiative whilst prioritising your workload is essential. You will be self motivated and have experience of HS&E Regulations and Directives. A full UK driving licence is essential in order to travel to different locations across the Force.
