The SEROCU Intelligence Capability is part of a national infrastructure set up to provide a single intelligence picture of the threat posed by serious and organised crime in the South East.

SEROCU are excited to be building four new intelligence development teams, which will be geographically based in TVP, Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey.

As part of this exciting team, you will gather, develop and disseminate intelligence to support the disruption of serious and organised criminality across the South East region and beyond, in line with National, Regional and Force organisational priorities.

You will develop and maintain productive working relationships with key internal and external partners to maximise intelligence opportunities to progress investigations into serious crime.

We are looking for officers who are enthusiastic, willing to learn new skills and have excellent communication skills with an understanding of current investigative / intelligence methods and tactics.

We welcome applications from Police Constables across Sussex and Surrey.

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will require a full UK driving licence.

Due to the nature of our work, security is of paramount importance to us and therefore it will be necessary to pass and maintain vetting level SC.  In order to achieve this, you must be a British National and have resided in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions apply for overseas or other diplomatic service (with HM Government), and studying abroad.

You can find more information about security vetting here.
