Fixed Term Contract / Secondment for 12 months

Part time – 29.6hrs per week

 

 

This role is to promote the safety of taxi drivers and their customers by working in partnership and supporting the local Authorities throughout the TVP area, who lead on managing and reviewing taxi licenses.

 

You will need to have excellent communication skills to enable you to develop relationships with other stakeholders such as taxi driver associations and taxi companies and also influence and negotiate with Local Authorities increasing the consistency of the management of licensees across the TVP area.

 

You will be IT literate with the ability to assimilate and use new packages as technology develops. You will need to handle, assess, record and share intelligence ensuring information is shared within data Protection Act, Human Rights Act and Information Governance guidelines.

 

You will need to be able to drive and have access to your own transport as you will be required to travel within TVP for partnership meetings and also work out of office hours as required to support police operations e.g. during the night-time economy or at weekends.
