INTERNAL/EXTERNAL VACANCY

Location: Loddon Valley/Bracknell (required to visit both locations)

Part time post, 18.5 hours per week

In this interesting role you will provide co-ordination and administrative assistance to MATAC (Multi Agency Tasking And Coordination) Panels and the Local Police Area. MATAC exists to identify standard and medium risk repeat Domestic Abuse offenders and provide a multi-agency approach to reducing harm and demand caused by those offenders. Duties will include minute taking, preparing reports, sending out agendas, collating responses and carrying out research using various systems.

The successful candidate will have achieved a good standard of education with excellent literacy and numeric skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are required with a track record in customer services. The ability to work on your own initiative, with good organisation skills and being able to prioritise your workload is required. You will be IT literate in Microsoft Office applications in particular Word and Excel and have a willingness to learn new systems.   The ability to negotiate and influence and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and from a diverse range of backgrounds is required.   Report writing skills are essential together with the ability to quality assure your own work with excellent attention to detail. There is a need for you to be independently mobile due to the nature of the role and a requirement to travel force wide during the day whilst undertaking all assignments in a timely manner.

This post is for 18.5 hours per week. Working hours are specific to each role and will be discussed at interview.
