Location: Kidlington but working across Thames Valley Police and Hampshire Constabulary

Fixed Term Contract/Secondment until 31st March 2022

We are looking to appoint a Business Analyst who will play a key role in a small project team working to implement a new mobile application that will support front line policing and service improvement across Thames Valley Police and Hampshire Constabulary. 

The individual must have the ability to analyse and understand business needs, and develop clear and accurate business requirements whilst ensuring that re-designed processes are aligned in order to improve performance and efficiency. 

As the role involves working with many different operational and strategic teams in Thames Valley and Hampshire, we require someone with excellent interpersonal skills and ideally a good working knowledge of policing processes. The individual will have previous experience of achieving outcomes through influence and persuasion, developing relationships with senior business stakeholders, and facilitating workshops and meetings. 

The Business Analyst will accurately assess the impact of change on existing processes, evaluate the risk, cost and benefits of any project change proposals and influence the approach to quantifying business benefits and benefit realisation. 

The ideal candidate must be a good listener and have excellent communication skills whilst being flexible, adaptable and a problem solver. A full driving licence is considered essential as capability to travel across the two Forces is required in order to undertake assignments in a timely manner and work flexibly.
