You will maintain communications with the surveillance team on the ground, acting as the conduit for information and intelligence between the Tactical Controller in the CTPOR and the Surveillance (Sv) Team Leader, updating the CLIO log regarding Sv activity, and supporting the Sv deployment through identification and resolution of fast-time intelligence gaps

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, often under pressure, with the ability to negotiate and influence.

CTP SE are committed to becoming the most diverse team in the South East. We encourage interest and applications from candidates of all backgrounds and particularly welcome applications from female and BAME (black, Asian and minority ethic) candidates to enable us to truly reflect the communities we serve.

Due to the role requirements, it is essential that the post holder be prepared to be security cleared to Developed Vetting (DV) level. Furthermore, due to the nature and sensitivity of work carried out we require that candidates not only hold this vetting level but that they also undertake additional security clearances which include additional nationality checks. This post is therefore restricted to UK nationals. This is line with government requirements, supported by Cabinet Office policy and Section 82(2) to (4) of the Police Reform Act (2002), and is for the purpose of safeguarding national security, to ensure that any potential vulnerabilities are identified at an early stage

This role is part of a national, regional and local network and as a result you will be required to travel for business purposes. The post holder must be able to deploy for extended periods of time away from home anywhere in the UK. These shifts may include nights and weekends and due to the small size of the team.

Hampshire Officers are required to complete an AD277 alongside their application.
